As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for generating creative concepts and creative writing for a variety of marketing and advertising materials, such as campaign taglines, social media postings, email campaigns, website content, and more. You will collaborate directly with the creative team, account management team, and clients to create engaging and inspiring content.

Job Responsibilities

  • Familiarise with clients’ products and services, brand tonality, target audience and their competitors’ activities
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • Conceptualise and develop creative ideas and strategy for campaigns in partnership with Art Directors
  • Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Present ideas to the creative director for approval and development
  • Write clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the project
  • Deliver presentations to project team members, senior creatives and clients.
  • Proofread copy to check spelling and grammar
  • Amend, revise or redevelop concepts or campaigns in response to feedback from the Creative Director, Account team or Clients when necessary
  • Present ideas to the creative director for approval and development
  • Oversee and assist the relevant party with the assigned campaigns through from the production stage to completion
  • Involved in pitching of ideas to clients
  • Stay in trend with social media landscape and keep up to date with popular culture and trends


  • 1-2 years of experience in copywriting in an advertising agency environment.
  • Excellent writing skills with a talent for crafting engaging, compelling, witty and on-brand content.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to write for diverse audiences.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to inform content development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and clients.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, google slides, google docs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
